Maisha is coming to the USA

Hand in Hand Kenya is excited to bring Florence Keya, founder of our partner charity the Maisha Girls Safe House, to Cincinnati and the surrounding area. Flo will be here from April 19 to April 28 to give speaking engagements and shed light on the challenges currently facing too many girls in Kenya.

During her stay, Florence will be working with Hand in Hand Kenya to raise money to improve the Safe House, adding more space and better facilities for girls in need. You can make a big difference just by inviting Flo to speak to your oganization, including workplace, church, mosque, synagogue, book club, sorority, fraternity, civic group, or school.

You'll gain valuable insight into the reality of gender-based violence and child trafficking in Kenya and learn about initiatives at the Maisha Girls Safe House that are giving victims the chance to recover.

Florence's speaking engagements are being offered for free to raise awareness about this important cause. Randie Marsh, founder of Hand in Hand Kenya, will be in attendance with Flo. Donations will be processed and monitored through Hand in Hand Kenya for accountability purposes. All donations will be earmarked for the critical improvements to the Safe House facilities that provide for around 60 girls and babies.

We already have two events planned and you are invited. One is April 27 @7 p.m. in Anderson Township (east side of Cincinnati). The second is April 21 @ 4 p.m. in Northern Kentucky. Reservations are preferred and exact addresses will be given at that time. You may call or email to RSVP. We look forward to you joining us!

We would like to bring Flo's message to more people and groups. You can arrange a speaking engagement by emailing Randie or calling Hand in Hand Kenya at 513-546-6432. Randie and Flo are willing to travel outside Greater Cincinnati for the right opportunity, so please reach out if you have a good lead, whether it's in Cincinnati or elsewhere.
